The Commercial Observer names Richard Smith one of the 20 Most Influential Lenders in New York City

Richard Smith, Managing Director of Originations for Bank OZK’s Real Estate Specialties Group (RESG) New York Office, was name one of the 20 most influential lenders in New York City in The Commercial Observer’s inaugural Lenders Issue.
The Commercial Observer, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate publications, has named Richard Smith, Managing Director of Originations for Bank OZK’s Real Estate Specialties Group (RESG) New York Office, one of the 20 most influential lenders in New York City in its inaugural Lenders Issue.
In the story, Smith spoke to RESG’s competitive edge, “… our expertise in underwriting and structuring commercial real estate transactions, the value of the great sponsors with whom we typically do business, the quality of the assets we finance, and the protection that is provided to us by our very low loan-to-cost and loan-to-value metrics. Unless you really know the business, it is difficult to appreciate how conservative we are and how low-risk our portfolio is.”
