Bank of the Ozarks Leaders Ranked #17 Among 50 Most Important Figures of Commercial Real Estate Finance

The Commercial Observer, a leading commercial real estate publication, has recognized four leaders from Bank of the Ozarks’ Real Estate Specialties Group (RESG) among the 50 most important figures of commercial real estate finance.

This marks the second year in a row that Bank of the Ozarks team members have been featured in this list.

We congratulate RESG Chief Operating Officer Brannon Hamblen and three Managing Directors of Originations Greg Newman, Tucker Hughes and Richard Smith for this well-deserved achievement.

RESG specializes in large and complex commercial real estate construction financing across the U.S. Their focus is on building a loan portfolio with the lowest credit and interest rate risks utilizing discipline and expertise.  This team is widely recognized as a national leader in commercial real estate lending.

The RESG loan portfolio totaled over $20 billion in funded and unfunded balances as of December 31, 2017, but the numbers don’t tell the whole story.

The loans this team delivers are a driving force of economic growth for communities across the country.

They create jobs.  They modernize cities.  They build buildings.

As a bank, we’re proud of that.  And we’re proud to have these four influencers on our team.
